Connecting AI content and creative production.

As a freelancer for Payoneer, I developed AI-powered tools to automate the creation of designed marketing assets. Built using Claude Code and Claude Design, with Claude API integration, the tools brought AI-assisted creative production into a connected workflow. The implementation also connected with a separate AI engine responsible for generating copy, bringing content generation and design production together. Colleagues could then review and edit the generated designs directly within the in-house tool.

From automated design to editable creative assets.

At Akamai, I developed AI-powered tools that automate the creation of designed marketing assets using Claude Code, Claude Design and the Claude API. The implementation was also connected to Canva, allowing colleagues to review generated designs and make changes directly in Canva. This connected automated creative production with a familiar editing environment.

About me

Built on real creative experience.

I'm Jonathan Cohen, a London-based art director and marketing design specialist with 10+ years of experience across technology, SaaS, fintech and cybersecurity. My work spans brand systems, integrated campaigns and digital storytelling — from the initial concept through to production.

As Brand Marketing Manager at Akamai Technologies, I lead creative development for global brand and product marketing, evolve brand systems and mentor junior designers. Previously, I led campaign art direction and a brand refresh at Noname Security, and progressed from Junior to Senior Marketing Designer at Payoneer, where I continue to work as a freelancer.

Alongside my in-house work, I've supported marketing design at Twine Security and visual identity development for Omnissa's rebrand. That hands-on experience shapes my approach to AI: practical creative workflows that support exploration, consistency and production without losing human judgement.
